South African double in Johannesburg and 5 players qualified for the PGA Tour!

On the DP World Tour, the players were in South Africa and the tournament smiled on the local players. On the PGA Tour, there was a mixed tournament and the Q-School to win accession cards to the American circuit. Here’s everything you need to know.

DP World Tour – Alfred Dunhill Championship

First title for the South African Jayden Schaper on the DP World Tour. In -16, he beat his compatriot Shaun Norris in the playoffs. Spanish Eugenio Chacarra finishes at 3^th place (-15) in this tournament reduced to 3 rounds due to weather conditions.

It is therefore a first victory on the circuit for Jayden Schaper who takes the lead in the Race To Dubai rankings.

Very good performance from Martin Couvrera. Author of an incredible last lap, the Frenchman finishes in 7th^th place (-12). Great performance also from the member of Team Golf Plus, Antoine Rozner. The Parisian finishes 14^th (-10). Pierre Viallaneix term 40^th (-7). Jungle Guillamoundeguy finishes at 46^th place (-6). David Ravetto finishes at 56^th place (-5). Finally, Romain Langasque ends at 75^th place (-1).

This week, the DP World Tour players are in Mauritius to compete in the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open.

PGA Tour – Grant Thornton Invitational

In this mixed duo tournament, it’s the team Lauren Coughlin / Andrew Novak which won in -28. This team is ahead Jennifer Kupcho / Chris Gotterup, Nelly Korda / Denny McCarthy et Charley Hull / Michael Brennan (-25).

This was the last tournament of 2025 on the PGA Tour. The season will therefore begin on January 2 (like every year) on the Hawaiian side with the Sentrythe first signature tournament, which brings together the winners of last season. Japanese Hideki Matsuyama will defend his title there.

PGA Tour – Q-School

The Canadian AJ Ewart wins and qualifies for the PGA Tour. In -14, he is ahead of his compatriot Adam Svensson but also Alejandro Tosti et Marcelo Rozo (-12).

These 4 players therefore win the holy grail for next season: the PGA Tour card. They are also accompanied by Ben Silverman (5^th) who got rid of Dylan Wu in the playoff for the last card in play.
